PLANT-A-TREE PROGRAM

We are committed to working towards a more sustainable future and are proud to support the Yarra Yarra Biodiversity Corridor, the first Australian project certified by the Gold Standard to help minimise our impact on our environment. The Yarra Yarra Biodiversity Corridor is a multi-species native reforestation project located in Southwest Australia which is a global biodiversity hotspot. It removes over 1 million tonnes of carbon in a region where over 90% of the woodland has been cleared over the course of the project.

This project aims to remove existing carbon from the atmosphere today and to recreate a healthy and functioning landscape, restored after decades of habitat loss and degradation. This will become the new bush that reconnects to the Australian Outback. It is a legacy project which will strive to ensure the land is continually nurtured and improved. Current and future plantings form part of the Corridor providing essential connectivity for birds and animals to transition through the landscape.

AS A BUSINESS WE ARE CONSCIOUS OF OUR CARBON FOOTPRINT

ECO-PACKAGING ALLIANCE

We are proud to be apart of the Eco-Packaging Alliance, contributing to global reforestation one tree at a time. As a business we are conscious of our carbon footprint and the impact we have on the environment. We have taken steps to minimise packaging and waste. Our stickers and tissue paper are produced by noissue using soy-based ink, acid free paper, and are certified by the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council). Our compostable mailers are made from a combination of PBAT, a bio-based polymer which is compostable, and PLA which is made up of plant materials such as regular field corn and wheat straw. Their use makes up barley 0.05% of the annual global corn crop, making it an incredibly low-impact resource.
